The four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) envisions the creation of passionate, motivated, qualified, professionally trained, and well-equipped teachers capable of designing and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for students at different stages of school education. The ITEP seeks to ensure that the prospective teachers are given the highest quality education in content, pedagogy, values, and practice. ELIGIBILITY/ ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AND RESERVATION POLICY:
A Certificate obtained after successfully completing Grade 12 (or equivalent stage of education such as Pre-University, Intermediate, etc.) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or an equivalent grade from a recognised Board/University. The relaxation in percentage of marks in the Senior Secondary or plus two examinations or its equivalent examination and the reservation for Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Class or Persons with Disabilities or Economically Weaker Section and any other categories shall be as per the rules of the Dibrugarh University.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:
Admission to ITEP with Secondary Stage Specialization shall follow the NCTE guidelines. It will be done through a suitable subject and aptitude test (National Common Entrance Test (NCET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and shall be standardised, keeping in view the linguistic and cultural diversity of the country. Its score would reflect the relative performance level of the candidate for merit-based selection to secure admission.

ADMISSION AND FEE STRUCTURE:
The Admission process of Four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) will be started soon after declaration of the result of National Common Entrance Test (NCET) from National Testing Agency (NTA). Fee structure will be notified as per rules of the Government of Assam.
