COMBINATION OF SUBJECTS: for H.S. 1st and 2nd year students (Arts Stream)
Compulsory subjects:
- English - 100 marks
- MIL (Assamese, Hindi, Altenative English) - 100 marks
Elective subjects:
A student can opt for any four subjects from the subject list provided below with the following options,
Advance Assamese, Advance Hindi, Anthropology, Economics, Education, Geography, History, Home Science, Logic & Philosophy, Mathematics, Political Science
Options: A student can select any one subject out of the following options,
- Mathematics/ Home Science/ Advance Hindi/ Advance Assamese
- Home Science/ Anthropology/ Mathematics
- Geography / Mathematics / Advance Assamese
- Home Science/ Advance Assamese/ Advance Hindi
- Advance Assamese/ Logic & Philosophy
- Geography/ Logic & Philosophy
Note: Four elective subjects from a stream as in above can be selected by a student. But in the final result, only the three best scored subjects are accounted for alongwith two compulsory subjects.
EXAMINATIONS:
Higher Secondary 1st year examination will be conducted by the college examination cell and 2nd year final examination will be conducted by AHSEC.
