Lakhimpur Girls' College

The Department of Zoology, Lakhimpur Girls' College hosts a Native Fish Museum in their Department which was inaugurated on 28th July, 2012 by Homen Borgohain, Eminent Litterateur, Journalist, Ex-President of Asom Shahitya Sabha and Chief Editor of Amar Asom daily News Paper. The specimens of native/ indigenous fish are chemically preserved and showcased at the museum, which serves as an information centre not only for the students but also for the visitors.
