As Lakhimpur Girls' College is on the verge of celebrating its Golden Jubilee in 2022, I would like to reaffirm our pledge of imparting a holistic education to our dear students, one that starts with the text books but envisions the class room as an important and significant entry point into the world outside. Augmented by pedagogical input of the highest quality, we aim to resolutely equip our students with a learning derived from the values of social and ethical responsibility. The Lakhimpur Girls' College tradition has successfully striven for and conjoined academic achievement with an extensive, vibrant co-curricular programme that includes fine arts, sports and leadership training programme. We are proud of our team of dedicated and highly qualified teachers who mentor students both within the classroom and outside. Our mission is to inculcate a love of knowledge in our students as we set them on a path of lifelong learning. This is done through the wide range of courses that we offer, along with add-on and career oriented course aimed at fulfilling the requirements of students who wish to develop skills that will prepare them for both employment and higher education. Even as Lakhimpur Girls' College remains on of the most sought after colleges in Dibrugarh University, we are unwilling to rest on our laurels and successes and strive constantly to make our college a seat of meritorious learning, at par with the best educational institutions in the country.
